On Thursday, June 9th, our class spent two-and-a-half hours out in the courtyard, enjoying a water slide, sprinklers, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, snow cones, and a bounce house. Thank you, again, to the adult volunteers who helped "keep an eye" on the children. It was the best day ever!
Thank you so much to the families of the following children for providing food and treats for our class party - Amariah, Austin, Darion, Ethan, Jakob, Jheleen, Katrina, Nayeli, and Sara. We all enjoyed eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bologna and cheese sandwiches, "pigs in a blanket", pansit, raw vegetables with Ranch dressing, cucumber salad, watermelon, chips, popsicles, cookies, and "Capri Sun" drinks. What a spread! Thank you to the following adults who came to help with the party - Mesha Smith and her aunt (Oops, Mrs. Doiron can't remember her name), Leslie Stoves-Singleton, Maria Barrera, Rosalina Pierschke, J. R. Navarro, Eileen Ladieras, Ancelma Molina, Terry Akins, and Dorothy Akins. It was a fabulous party and we all enjoyed the food. (You should have seen the children gobbling up the last of the green vegetables as they walked out of the classroom in the afternoon!)
