Independent Reading

This is what our students look like during Independent Reading.  Each student has a "Work Space" where he/she can read undisturbed.





After Independent Reading, each student writes the name of one book he/she has read in a Reading Log.

Field Trip to Connor's A-Maize-ing Acres

Ten Frames

In Math, we are working with "Ten Frames".  We use them to practice counting and cardinality.  Later on, we will use "Double Ten Frames".  Please notice that our counters are the green bottle caps from bottled water.  They are free!

Flag Raising

On Wednesday, September 24, 1014, we had our first school-wide Flag Raising.  We were thrilled to have ROTC and Band members from Terry Parker High School in attendance!
