 "E" Honor Roll

(Please note that in order for students to earn either Honor Roll, they must be awarded these grades in all three areas: Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Growth and Development (Conduct)

End-of-the-year Class Party

Our Class Party on Thursday, June 5th, included a delicious lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pigs-in-a-blanket, meat and cheese sandwiches, meatballs, fresh fruit, raw vegetables with Ranch dressing, chips, and juice.  After lunch, we played party games, including "Hot Potato", "Musical Chairs", "Balloon Pop Race", and "Duck, Duck, Goose".  We concluded with desserts, including cupcakes, ice cream, and cookies, plus more juice.  Thank you so much to everyone who sent in food, drinks, and paper goods for the party, as well as those who came to chaperone the party.  Everyone had a great time!

Reader's Theater

Following our Awards Assembly on June 2nd, our students performed Reader's Theater for their families.  They performed "The Three Billy Goats Gruff", then "The Bremen Town Musicians."

Awards Assembly

On Monday, June 2nd, we had the East Ranch Kindergarten Awards Assembly.  Every student received an award.  Some of the awards are as follows:

PLAY DAY

Our Kindergarten Play Day was held from 8:30-11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30th.  Our students went from station to station participating in a variety of games.  Some highlights are shown below.  Thank you to Mrs. Corbett, Mr. Green, and Mrs. Sierra, who came to help out.

Junior Achievement Day at Merrill Road Elementary School

Thursday, May 29th was Junior Achievement Day at Merrill Road Elementary School.  Mrs. Findlay from Florida Blue, volunteered in our classroom all day.  She presented Junior Achievement lessons to the children.  She read several stories to the class and they responded to each story using Junior Achievement materials.  Participating students received a certificate of completion.  It was a great day!
