On Thursday, October 30th, we had our first Schoolwide Flag Raising. Our second grade Junior Safety Patrols were installed by JSO Officer Alexander, whose daughter is a Junior Safety Patrol. (Mrs. Doiron taught his son, who is now a freshman in college!)

RED RIBBON WEEK: Show your power against drugs!
Our motto for Thursday, October 30, 2015, was "Show Your Power Against Drugs". We wore our Super Power shirts.Did you notice that there are two Batman shirts?
RED RIBBON WEEK: Team up against drugs!
On Wednesday, October 28, 2015, we wore our sports gear to "Team up against drugs". Thanks to those who participated!
RED RIBBON WEEK: Shade out drugs!
The motto for Tuesday, November 27, 2015, was "Shade out drugs!" Thank you to the parents who let their kids wear sunglasses. Ironically, it was a cloudy, overcast day!

Literacy Week: Book Character Dress Up Day
Friday, October 16, 2015, was Book Character Dress Up Day in Duval County Public Schools. These are the "characters" who were in our classroom! Thank you to the families who helped their students dress up and bring their books to school. Mrs. Doiron enjoyed reading all of the books to the class!

Literacy Week: Mismatch Day
On Wednesday, October 15, 2015, we were all asked to "mismatch" our clothing. Most of our students, plus Mrs. Doiron, had fun "mismatching"!
