Connor's A-Maize-Ing Acres
Lunch and Playground
(Mrs. Doiron decided not to post photos of the children who fell asleep on the bus going back to school!)
Thank you so very much to the five parents who came along on this field trip as chaperones!
Connor's A-Maize-Ing Acres
We thought we might get lost in the Corn Maze, but we followed the twists and turns, and found out way out eventually.
What a fun adventure this was!

The "Cow Train" was REALLY fun!
Did you know that Connor's A-Maize-Ing Acres is open in the evenings and on Saturday? For information, go to their website at http://www.conners-a-maize-ing-acres.com.

Here is a photo of the farmer who spoke with us about the farm, as well as some of the animals we saw.
Connor's A-Maize-Ing Acres
On Monday, October 28th, we took our first field trip to Connor's A-Maize-Ing Acres. Our eighteen students had a wonderful time! Here are photos of most of them coming out of a great big tube slide.
Mrs. Doiron wasn't able to get photos of some of the children, since they were just too fast!

RED RIBBON WEEK: Wear Red for Red Ribbon Week.
Look at how many students wore RED! Thank you to all the parents and guardians who helped their children participate in our Red Ribbon activities. Mrs. Doiron is sorry that she forgot to take a picture of our students wearing slippers on Tuesday.

Young Artists
Look at what our young artists did in Art Class with Mrs. Tran! This was a two-day project, involving paper, glue, paint, and stickers. It's amazing that even though all our students had the exact same materials, all of their artwork looks different. Our artists are individuals!
Elements of Nonfiction
Mrs. Tremble, our FSCJ Intern, is teaching our students about the Elements of Nonfiction. Each of our students has at least six nonfiction books in his/her Independent Reading Folder. During Independent Reading, one of the things our students do is to look through their nonfiction books to find some of the Elements of Nonfiction. These are some of the elements they found on Monday, October 21, 2013.
