We have been learning about two-dimensional (2-D) shapes.
One day our students got a chance to eat these shapes.
One day our students got a chance to eat these shapes.
Ritz crackers = circles
Townhouse crackers = ovals
Doritoes chips = triangles
Triscuit crackers = squares
Club crackers = rectangles
oyster crackers = hexagons
In their Interactive Math Journals, students identified the shapes, then drew representations of the shapes and labeled them. That was the day they were asked to look at food shapes for their homework. These photos show what we did at school.
