About Me

My photo
Lynn S. Doiron
Jacksonville, Florida, United States
I grew up on a farm in Minnesota, the fourth of five children. After graduating from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas, I married my husband, Dennis. We have two grown daughters. Leslie and her husband, Roger, live in Williamsburg, Virginia. Laura and her husband, Kenny, live here in Jacksonville, with our granddaughter. Savannah Grace was born on 12-13-13, and is a beautiful little girl, of course! I've been teaching kindergarten for many years, and I am "National Board Certified". During the last two summers, I've spent several weeks scoring other teachers' National Board entries. What an interesting experience it was to read about the wonderful things elementary teachers are doing all across the country! I am a member of Pi Lambda Theta (International Honor Society and Professional Association in Education) and Professional Educators Network of Florida. Learning new aspects of technology is very exciting to me. I have a blog and a wiki, and am on Twitter, as well. I have a Smart Board in my classroom and enjoy learning new ways to use it in my kindergarten classroom.
