Working in our Outdoor Learning Area

While learning about "The Practice of Science", our kindergartners went outside to our Outdoor Learning Area to practice observing things.  They have learned that scientists use their senses, scientists observe things, and scientists draw what they observe.  On the day pictures, students were asked to choose one object (such as a tree), then observe and draw three things about that object (the tree has a black trunk, green leaves, and is tall).
