Testing

By this Friday, October 12th, all of our kindergarten students will have been tested using the following assessments:

• Florida Assessments for Instruction in Reading (FAIR), which is required by the state
• Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA2), which is required by the district
• Common Core State Standards (CCSS) Math Test, which is required by the district

The results of these tests help us to determine our instruction for the future.  If you would like to meet with Mrs. Doiron to learn how your child scored on these assessments, please contact her to set up a parent-teacher conference.  (FAIR reports will be sent home in the First Quarter Report Cards.)  Please remember that teachers' work hours at Merrill Road Elementary School are from 7:30-3:00.  Mrs. Doiron can meet with you any day but Monday, from 7:30-8:10, or any day except Monday, after school between the hours of 3:00 and 4:30.  There are no parent-teacher conferences scheduled during the school day, because Mrs. Doiron is teaching.  Thank you for understanding this.
