Our STAR Book for the week of October 15-19, 2012
was The Gingerbread Man by Karen Schmidt.
This book was read to the class every day during the week.
Students enjoyed reciting this refrain,
"Run, run, as fast as you can.
You can't catch me. I'm the Gingerbread Man!"
On Thursday night, Mrs. Doiron baked gingerbread men.
On Friday, each student received a gingerbread man,
frosting and mini m&ms for decoration.
It was fun to frost and decorate The Gingerbread Man.
(Okay, some of us did nibble on the m&ms!)

Mmm, they were yummy!
